RTC Meetings & Agendas

Public Participation
Public Input: The Commission welcomes your input. General comments can be submitted to info@sccrtc.org. For comments related to a Commission agenda item or items within the RTC’s jurisdiction, please note due dates and time:
- Comments on items on the current month’s agenda: Due 9:00 am, Wednesday prior to the meeting
- Comments for items not on the agenda: Due 12:00 pm, 2nd Monday prior to that month’s meeting.
- Oral comments at RTC meetings will be limited to 1-3 minutes, at the Chair’s discretion.
- Zoom link provided at the top of the meeting’s agenda.
Remote Participation. Members of the public may participate in RTC meetings in person at the physical location, or remotely via Zoom. All information needed to participate in the RTC meeting is listed on the first page of the agenda. Video recordings are uploaded to Community TV’s website a couple days following the meeting.
Accessibility & Accommodations. Please contact the RTC at least 3 days in advance of a meeting to request accommodations for a disability or translation services. If any document, webpage, meeting, or recording is inaccessible to you, kindly alert the front office staff.
Regular Meetings
Commission meetings are held the first and third Thursdays of each month and start at 9:00 a.m. unless otherwise noted. There are no meetings in July. Meetings are cancelled when there are no agenda items to be considered.
- Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) Meetings: The first Commission meeting of the month covers a full agenda on the scope of the RTC’s work and is televised on Community TV.
- Transportation Policy Workshop (TPW) Meetings: The second Commission meeting of the month offers a forum for more informal and in-depth discussion on a limited set of agenda topics.
Agenda Notification
Agendas are posted at least 3 days before the meeting. Sign up to receive e-notification when RTC agendas have been posted to the website.
Transportation and Parking
As many meeting venues have limited parking for vehicles, participants are encouraged to carpool, or ride a bike or the bus to meetings. Transit trip planning assistance is available through Google Transit and via Santa Cruz Metro Customer Assistance 425-8600. Personalized trip planning for all modes is offered through Cruz511 or 429-POOL.
ADA Participation. The RTC is committed to its compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Please contact the RTC at least 3 days in advance of a meeting if special accommodations are needed.
